OK – I have a new man in my life! his name is Bamboo and he is the cutest little panda you ever did see!
We are launching our brand new range Party Paws as a Pick of the Day on the 5th March on Ideal World at 9pm. Now I want you to sit forward and pay attention here, trust me when I say that this will not last the full POTD, and that you must tune in at 9pm and get yours quickly, because it will absolutely without a shadow of little doubt fly out the door!
I have had the most amazing fun working with this range, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved, I predict a new card-making trend in 2013 and that is a Bamboo trend!
So here is my first (of many to come because I could not stop crafting) sneak peeks. I have made this card using one of the Bamboo stamps and also papers from the CD, there is another little sneaky Peek on this card of something else coming in March, bet you can not guess what it is! If you can I may have to be forced to award a spot prize!
I’ve printed one of the background designs and then embossed it for texture. Distressing the edges of the layers and adding lace, velvet ribbon and buttons adds a really beautiful touch of luxury.
I’ve used one of my favourite quilling flower dies the large Sunflower and the stamen to make this Gerbera to match the one in bamboo’s hand (paw) The beautiful Kraft lace Border is cut with one of our Die’sire lace border dies
The Image has been stamped onto Neenah Card, using Memento Ink and coloured using my Spectrum Noir Pens, I love the results I can get with these pens, I am never tire of finishing an image and then spending the next 30 minutes looking at it because I am so pleased with it 🙂
The colours I used for bamboo are: BG1, BG3, BG5 and BG9, CR1 and PP2 for cheeks, Blender to soften edged on white fur, DR5, DR2, PP3 and PP5 for the flower and BT2 and BT 4 for the butterfly.
Hope you love bamboo just as much as me, remember 5th march Ideal World 9pm – be there or be square
