Hi all, and Welcome to the Crafter’s Companion Blog Hop to Celebrate the Release of the 2nd SWALK collection

If you have landed here from Jacqui’s fabulous blog then you are hoping in the right direction. If not then you need to pop over to Jacqui’s Blog to begin.

Our DT have had a great time creating with the New SWALK Collection from Crafter’s Companion and to celebrate the Launch of this stunning new collection on Friday 22nd October we have decided to give you a chance to see some Sneak Peeks and also have the chance of winning a fabulous Prize:

A £50 GIFT VOUCHER TO BE SPENT ON THE CRAFTERS COMPANION WEBSITE

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning this great prize is visit each blog in order and leave your link on Mr Linky on the Crafter’s Companion News Views and Inspiration Blog which is your last stop on the HOP. Along the way you will notice that each Blog will give you a letter make a note of these as they will make a word which we will ask you for if your number is drawn by Random.Org on Friday 22nd October.

PLEASE DO NOT TELL US WHAT THE WORD IS ON THE CRAFTER’S COMPANION NEWS VIEWS AND INSPIRATION BLOG, WE WILL E-MAIL YOU FOR THE ANSWER IF YOUR MR LINKY NUMBER IS DRAWN.

My Sneaky Peek has been made with the Groovy Granny stamp, she is having a little bit of a Marilyn Monroe moment here :). I love these stamps, as I have always struggled to find cool Grandparent Cards in the past, not every Gran and Grandpa wants floral, boating and golf cards LOL! I have stamped Granny with memento and coloured with Copics, cut her out using a circle nestie and layered onto a contrasting scalloped circle. The background paper is from the new SWALK CD, if you thought the papers on the last CD were brilliant and really useable, you’re gonna think this CD is awesome! truly the papers on this CD, which have been designed by the lovely Nicki are “to die for” literally! I’ve made up some coordinating floral embellishments from the cd, by layering to make 3D flowers, and finished with a large satin bow wrapped around the card for a touch of luxury. The sentiment is from the stamp plate ( and there are also a couple of extra accessories on there too ;).

Oooo I forgot to tell you too, I have found the PERFECT, and I mean PERFECT card for stamping and colouring with your alcohol pens, such as Copics and Promarkers, you will be able to find it on the Crafters Companion Website from Monday, it’s called Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, its 216gsm, is ultra ultra smooth, and perfect for seamless blending. Even better than that its only £3.99 per pack for 20 sheets – trust me, if you love your promarkers and copics – you need it, just ask our DT, they can’t get enough! OK on with the HOP 🙂

My letter is I (for Ice) and your next port of call is the very talented Lisa at Crafty Moments

Thanks very much for hoping by and enjoy the rest of the inspiration.

L x
