Exciting news from Michele Marsden

Hello all

I’ve had a good old chin wag with Michele tonight, and I have some hot off the press news for you. I’ve known for a month now, but its offcial today that Michele handed in her notice from RHB 1 month ago and as of today she is working on new projects. Michele will be launching her own range of products in January, and will be going to lots of retail shows starting at the beginning of next year, which i know she is really pleased about, as she has been looking forward to going to shows for such a long time. I know Michele is a brilliant graphic and concept designer, so i am sure there will be loads of new goodies on there way to you soon.

With my new job at Crafters Companion, it’s a new start to a new year for us both and we are looking forward to being able to see so much more of each other.

Michele helped me out in the early days and I would not be in the postion I am today if not for her help in the very beginning, so here’s a big THANK YOU from me, and wishing you well in everything you do, I know you will be amazing.

Blooming take that

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO went to see take that on Saturday night and they were FANTASTIC…. but our seats were poop! so ive had to borrow these pics off a friend who was there (hope you dont mind Nikki!) who que’d from 11am in the morning to get a good position. However, I am much too old for that and wanted a seat, but the view from where we were was very obscured by the stadium roof! Their singing was amazing though – all live and sounded just as good as a recording, true professionals! I dont think Ill go to a standium again, but if they go to a smaller venue Ill pay 10 times the ticket price to see them, I managed to indulge my girlish fantasy that is Gary Barlow! SWOON – LOL

PS – if your wondering about the funny costumes the whole concert was based around the “circus” theme :)

Wedding Invitations

Hi all had a busy day today, but managed to make these two wedding invitation samples (I’ve made them with stardream card, cuttle embossing for the cigar sleave closure and the cricut for the hearts. There for my SIL to choose from, she wanted gatefold…. I prefer square but……… its not my wedding. Ive used stardream card, and the ribbon the real invites of she chooses that one will be brown to match her theme!

What do you think, are they too plain? Could they be imporved in any way? – your suggestions would be most welcome.
